WE ARE SPECIAL!!!
A smaller school that promotes a family atmosphere.
From a rich culture and economic diverse area we include everyone in an engaging learning environment.
SEDE is the only elementary school in the district with a designated sustainability class where students learn the skills needed to promote healthy humans and a healthy planet. Students assist with raising chickens, indoor and outdoor gardening, composting, energy conservation, and recycling.
ACEDEMICS EXCELLENCE
We Value the uniqueness and learning potential of our youngest learners to promote the learning and development of the whole child and honor the role of parents in the education of their children.
Our Focus is to create an optimal play-based, early learning environment that enables all preschoolers to develop ready-to-learn skills.
We implement a fully inclusive educational environment that celebrates diversity and promotes a rigorous, high-quality, play-based approach to learning.
Staff excellence includes an Early Childhood Instructor with Special Education and Elementary Education Teacher Certification along with a team of Specialist (Occupational Therapist, Speech Pathologist and an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher). We also value our experienced assistants.
